I know it's still early in the 2011-2012 TV season, but I already have a favorite new show and shockingly it's on the CW Network. The show I am referring to is Ringer starring Buffy The Vampire Slayer alum Sarah Michelle Gellar. Gellar plays twin sisters Bridget and Siobhan who live totally opposite lives and are reunited after 6 years apart. When Siobhan disappears during a boat trip with Bridget, Bridget, who is on the run from the law, takes over Siobhan's wealthy life which includes a distant husband and secret lover. Twists and turns run rampant throughout the pilot episode leading to a shocking ending no one saw coming. Gellar is at the top of her game in her return to network television and it shows. If you haven't checked out Ringer, start now. Ringer airs every Tuesdays at 9pm.

Is Anne Hathaway not feeling the love as the new Catwoman?
By now, many have seen the first look of Anne Hathaway as "Catwoman" in the new Christopher Nolan directed Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises". It looks like America's Swetheart is getting negative reactions from the released photo of her in costume as Catwoman before the movie is even released next summer. My spies are telling me Hathaway is very upset by the fan reaction and it is starting to affect her performance on set. Sources say director Nolan had to pull Hathaway aside in order to give her a pep talk and advised the Oscar nominated actress to ignore the negative press. I'm going to hold my opinion until I see the actual film but it's gonna be hard to top Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman from "Batman Returns". Just sayin!!!!
George Lopez blaming Jay Leno for his show being cancelled?
It looks like Jay Leno just made a new enemy in the comedy world. According to my spies, George Lopez, who's TBS late night talk show was cancelled yesterday, is blaming Jay Leno for the failure of his show. This all goes back to when Jay Leno left the Tonight Show back in 2009 and took it back a year later when his primetime show tanked. Leno coming back caused Conan O'Brien to lose the Tonight Show, which led O'Brien moving to TBS bumping Lopez to the later midnight time slot when all of the east coast is asleep. Sources say Lopez is incensed at the trail Leno created, which led to him losing his job. Could it be Lopez's show was cancelled because it wasn't funny? I'm just saying!!!!
Say it ain't so? J.Lo and Marc Anthony back togther?
My little birdies are telling me that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are headed back to a reconciliation any day now. Unless you are living under a rock, Mr and Mrs. Anthony recently announced they were divorcing and it was about to get ugly between the two when it came to resolving the divorce settlement. Now my sources are saying Anthony begged his superstar wife to return to him and he would change his hot latin tempered behavior. Lopez, according to my spies, is seriously considering taking Anthony back to keep herself from being a three marriage loser. Stay tuned!

Is Monique on the rampage after BET cancels her late night talk show?
Seems Academy Award winner Monique has fallen victim to the infamous "Oscar Curse." You know the curse where almost every actor whose won an Oscar is cursed for life in the entertainment field i.e. Cuba Gooding Jr., Kim Basinger, etc. The latest victim is Monique, who's late night BET talk show was recently cancelled due to low ratings and let's face it, no one could stand how loud she was. Sources say Monique is on the warpath and her main target is BET CEO Debra Lee, who some say made the final decision to pull the plug on the ailing talk show. My spies tell me Monique has told her team she will no longer associate herself with future BET projects and will not attend public events if Lee is there for fear of what she may do. Memo to Monique, who told you to abandon comedy and movies for a talk show? Your loud ass should be on the big screen or a comedy stage. Don't be mad at Lee. She did you and the rest of America a favor.
Is Bow Wow ready to retire?
My spies are telling me Bow Wow (real name: Shad Moss) is ready to retire from the music business. It seems the 24-year-old Bow Wow, who's first album came out when he was 13, is not feeling the love from his record label Cash Money and wants to devote full time to his second love, acting. Sources say Bow Wow is tired of playing second fiddle to his label mates Drake and Nicki Minaj and wants out of his contract in order to spend his full time conquering Hollywood. Bow Wow, who had a recurring role on Entourage and was most recently seen in Tyler Perry's Madeas Big Happy Family wants to put music behind him in order to make more movies. The real question is Bow Wow still makes music? I thought he was already retired.

Has NeNe Leakes banned her son from appearing this season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta?
My sources are hearing that "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes has banned her son Bryson Bryant from appearing on the upcoming new season after his latest run in with the law. As you may have heard, Bryant was reportedly arrested in July for shoplifting two Mach 3 razors from a Walmart, estimated value a whopping $14 each, which violated his probation. According to my spies, Leakes was so embarrassed by her son's latest brush with the law that she contacted Bravo and informed them Bryant would no longer be participating in remaining episodes of the hit reality series. Leakes, who has been in hiding since her son's latest arrest, has not spoken publicly about the incident and wants to remain focused on giving Bravo a good season. It's nice to know where Nene's priorities really are.
Did the cast of Entourage really want the series to end?
I'm hearing word from reliable sources that the cast of Entourage is none too pleased that HBO is ending the series this year. The cast was not happy when told by HBO execs that not only would season 8 be their last, but there would only be 8 episodes. No one was more vocal at their displeasure than Kevin Connolly, who plays Eric Murphy. Connolly allegedly was so incensed at the news of the show going off the air that he threatened to never work for HBO again. Sources say Connolly feels betrayed by the network and thinks the show easily had another 3 seasons to go. No offense Kevin, but Entourage's ship sailed a long time ago and it's time for the audience to let go and move on. At least this season is going out with a bang if you saw last Sunday's shocking ending.
Lindsay Lohan never offered John Gotti movie?
It looks like Lindsay Lohan, who was reportedly cast as Kim Gotti in the highly anticipated biopic of John Gotti, Gotti: Three Generations with John Travolta in the title role, really never was in the movie to begin with. Sources say Lohan was never seriously considered for the role and was used by the producers to add legitimacy to the movie. It seems producers saw Lohan as a liability due to her past legal troubles and only needed her name to gain publicity for the film. This isn't the first time producers of the John Gotti biopic have allegedly used a celebrity to gain press for their film. Joe Pesci, who was cast as Angelo Ruggiero, is reportedly suing the filmmakers for hiring but later firing him after he says he gained weight for the role. I can't say I feel sorry for Lohan but it sure looks like she was given the shaft on this one.
Is Vanessa Williams devasted over "Desperate Housewives" being cancelled?
Sources are telling me Vanessa Williams did not take Desperate Housewives' creator Marc Cherry's announcement to end the once popular show, after it's upcoming 8th season, all too well. Seems the former "Ugly Betty" star is devasted that "Desperate Housewives" is ending and does not know where she will find her next TV gig. My spies have informed me that Williams' agent is already hard at work pitching TV show ideas to TV Land and ABC Family since they are on a roll resurrecting the career of stars who were popular in the 80s and 90s. If I were a betting man, I predict Williams will end up on ABC Family or TV Land as somebody's mother. It may not be what she wants, but a check is a check in my book.
Is Vivica A. Fox telling her agent to book any job?
Seems Vivica A. Fox is going through the recession like the majority of us in these tough times. Sources tell me the veteran actress has instructed her agent to consider every role offered to her whether it be off-broadway plays, low budget films, TV-movies, or cable TV series. The latest project Fox did not turn down was the opportunity to join the cast of Lifetime's The Protector opposite Tisha Campbell-Martin. Fox will debut episode 12 as Captain Lisa Novak. At this rate, I could hire Vivica A. Fox to star in the local gospel revival of Lean On Me. But I can't knock her hustle. Bills gotta get paid somehow.
Trouble in paradise for True Blood's Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin?
Is there trouble in paradise for real life married couple True Blood's Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin? My spies are telling me that Moyer is very uncomfortable with the recent sex scenes his wife Paquin has had to play with hunky co-star Alexander Skarsgård. Seems Moyer, who plays the 150-year old vampire "Bill", has asked True Blood producers to tone down the sex scenes between Paquin, who plays the lead heroine "Sookie Stackhouse", and Skarsgård, who plays Bill's vampire rival "Eric." According to my sources, producers have told Moyer to suck it up because they are not changing a thing. I'm not going to lie, those recent sex scenes were hot and I can understand Moyer's concern, but you're an ACTOR, deal with it.
